About this Site and this policy

USDAExpressLoans.com (the "Site") is an independent educational website about USDA home loans. It is operated by Matthew Brown, Sr. Loan Originator / Mortgage Broker, NMLS #1254520, and is not affiliated with the U.S. Department of Agriculture or USDA Rural Development. This policy describes how information is handled when you browse the Site or contact Matthew through it. Using the Site means you accept these practices; if you don't, please don't use the Site or submit information.

This policy applies only to this Site. Linked services, such as the online loan application and the scheduling tool, follow their own privacy policies.

Information you send through the contact form

When you submit the contact form, the Site receives what you enter, which may include:

  • Your name, phone number, and email address
  • The state where the property is located
  • The goal you choose from the list
  • Any details you type in
  • The page you submitted the form from

Submissions pass through Formspree, a third-party form processor, and arrive by email to Matthew Brown only. Formspree handles the data under its own terms. Your information is not sold, rented, or shared with lead-generation lists; it's used to respond to your request and follow up by phone, text, or email. Information you share by calling, texting, emailing, or booking a consultation is treated the same way.

Express Checks never leave your browser

Some pages include Express Checks, short yes / no / not sure questionnaires. They run entirely in your browser. Your answers aren't saved by the Site or sent anywhere, and they disappear when you reload or leave the page.

When you finish a check, its result heading may be copied into the contact form's details box on the same page as a convenience. Nothing is sent unless you submit the form, and you can edit or delete that text first. If analytics are running, the Site may log that a check was completed and its general result category, but never your individual answers.

Keep sensitive details out of the form

Please don't send Social Security numbers, bank or card account numbers, dates of birth, tax returns, or pay stubs through the form, by text, or by regular email. If you decide to apply, you'll be directed to a secure application built to collect that information.

Google Analytics and cookies

The Site uses Google Analytics to understand traffic — pages viewed, how visitors found the Site, approximate city or region, device and browser type, and clicks on phone, email, scheduling, and pre-approval links. Google Analytics uses cookies and similar technologies, and Google processes the data under its own policies.

The data is reviewed in aggregate to improve the Site, not to identify individual visitors. You can control cookies in your browser settings or install the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on. Blocking cookies won't prevent you from reading the Site.

The Site links to other websites and services, including the pre-approval application at plus.preapp1003.com, Calendly, Matt.Mortgage, USDA's eligibility site, NMLS Consumer Access, and related educational sites. What you provide there is governed by their policies. If you apply for a loan, the mortgage company handling the application will give you the privacy notices the law requires.

Information collected through the Site is never sold. It's shared only as needed to answer you or deliver what you ask for — for example, with the service providers behind the form and analytics, or with the mortgage company processing an application you choose to submit — or when the law requires it or it's needed to protect rights, safety, or property.

Security, children, your choices, and changes

Security. The Site uses HTTPS encryption and other reasonable safeguards, but no method of transmitting or storing data online is completely secure.

Children. The Site is intended for adults and isn't directed to children under 13. If you believe a child has submitted information, get in touch and it will be deleted.

Your choices. You can ask to update or delete your contact information, or to stop follow-up, using the contact details below. Some records may be retained where the law requires.

Changes. This policy may be updated from time to time. Changes take effect when posted, and the date at the top will change.

Questions. Contact Matthew Brown at matt@matt.mortgage or (512) 952-1125. See also the Terms of Use.
